a skip and a song to see us along is the 8^th album by Keith Seatman and his 1^st non-Castles in Space album release since 2017.
Castles in Space will be releasing a new LP from Keith in Feb 2025 and a
remix 7inch single in late 2024.
In the meantime this release is a collection of 10 new tunes featuring more of his Odd Electronics, Psych, Radiophonics, Drone, quirky melodies, samples and random thoughts. Douglas E Powell joins Keith again and supplies Acoustic Guitar on track 10 jumbled letters.

In early Jan 2024 I caught Covid and was laid up for a week. As I gradually felt better I started tinkering with some music, after a while of messing about with some sounds, voices and laughter I realised I might actually have a new tune/track.
Was not sure what I was doing and had no real plan.
I then just carried on recording and recording until I stopped.

So here you have it at 15 minutes 36 seconds long,

Broken Folk 10inch EP available now on Bandcamp

I am pleased to say that there is now a limited number of copies of the Seatman & Powell (featuring Belbury Poly) Broken Folk 10inch EP, available from Bandcamp. Previously only available from Ghostbox Records, Belbury Music Shop. A five track EP of collaborations with folk singer Douglas E. Powell /Bellprover selected from my albums, A Rest Before the Walk and all hold hands and off we go. It opens with a remix of the title track Broken Folk by Ghost Box veterans, Belbury Poly.
Melancholic and subtly psychedelic, these songs are redolent of supernatural short stories and winter afternoons out on English landscapes. In these dark rustic reveries, Seatman builds a dense collage of electronics, fragmented melody and found sound, around which Powell weaves his dreamlike lyrics. The 10” is pressed on translucent green vinyl with sleeve art by Belbury Poly's Jim Jupp. It’s released on Seatman’s own label KS Audio and is produced in association with Belbury Music.

A Winter Digital Discount

Its coming to the end of the year, so its time for the Winter Digital Discount. In preparation of all sorts of projects/releases and an EP or 2 in 2018. Last Few CDs and a bit More

Test Transmission Archive Reel 29

Starting off this time we have a bit of Nuts in May, followed by all sorts of audio goodness like Renaldo and the Loaf, Simon Heartfield, The Comit is Coming, Basil Kirchin, Carl Orff, Gong, Belbury Poly & Moonwiring Club, Shirley Collins, Tongues of Fire, Deep Purple, Dudley Morre Trio and plenty more. Have been working on ideas for Test Transmission Archive Reel 30 recently. To celebrate reaching 30 this will be a TV Themes and OST only Test Transmission. So until then (Summer) sit back and enjoy a bit of Keith and Candice Marie.

The Sunday Experience (Jan 2017) 
After a lot of stress uncertainty and upheaval over the last year or so, I have somehow managed to complete and release a new album. Its been a strange old journey this time round. I was starting to feel a bit lost and despondent with the whole recording process, and was not even sure if I wanted to do another album, I was seriously considering slinging in the old towel or at least having a very long break............I was bored...its that simple. Then something happened (like it does) and I felt quite inspired to record again. With this one I wanted to do something a bit lighter and a bit more uptempo in places. I knew I wanted to include Douglas E Powell for some more vocal duties, and my friend and Artist (Stalybridge born and bred) Greg Palmer had a lovely painting/image called Slush Puppy which I liked a lot. I knew I wanted to incorporate samples of this image into the cover art of the album because I wanted the overall feel of the album to be a tad more bright and optimistic, and I also knew the album had to be released in Spring or Summer. I entered into recording/composing the music with a slightly different feel and attitude than before. Optimism was the name of the game, and looking at it all now I am quite happy with it, which is a step forward for me. Sadly my plan was to make this one vinyl, but it just did not happen. So that's it really. Whats next?? there are long term plans for a couple of EPs and I have recorded a number of tracks for some other projects that are in the pipeline.
