Another almost completed track from the new album. I am plodding along at a slow old pace, trying to get the album completed for the new year. This is the 2nd track to feature the vocals of Douglas E Powell. Album is due for release early 2017.

Douglas E Powell Good Men Get Lost at Sea

Have just been sent the lovely (and it is lovely) and quite wonderful new album by Douglas E Powell & The Rising Spirit Good Men get Lost at Sea. I have played a few early versions of some of the tracks on my Test Transmission mixes over the last year or so (Nash's Tower, Penny Lies) and have had the pleasure of Doug letting me hear a few of these tracks develop and change as the album has progressed. My own personal fav with its very gentle Folk/Psych backwards guitar ending is Penny Lies. Copies of Good Men get Lost at Sea can be purchased from here.

A Short Break

Just got back from a short break in North Devon. Went to see my friend Mr Douglas E Powell.

Drunk some funny old beers and had a very nice time with the Powells. Myself Mrs Seatman and small wee Seatman went to Saunton Sands. Lots of exploring and Kite flying. Some lovely old Beach Huts there. On the way back to East Fuddlewitch we stopped of at Glastonbury Tor and did the long old walk to the top. For more Beach Huts go to my Flickr Page.
