A couple of fine releases

Due out on August 8th and available to download from iTunes and Amazon is this fine album by my good friend Mr Heartfield. The inspiration for this album is the Len Deighton novel Bomber I recently played the track Schrage Musik from the album on my last cloudcast, and I must say that all the rest of the tracks are of the same high standard. I should also point out that the fine artwork for the album was done by me. We both liked it.

Next up is the new album by Carya Amara.

Now this is all a bit of a mystery. The Phantom Circuit sent me a link to The new album by Carya Amara, I did not know what to expect.....but I was not disappointed. Venom and Eternity

Some time ago, I got a call from a good friend Mr Heartfield, asking me if I would like to contribute some vocals to his new album Venom and Eternity. Of course I agreed. And so I wrote the lyrics to the track Once at a border. This album is def worth checking out. A greatly produced album which I know for a fact Me H spent a very very long time on. My personal fav is Decade Senses and Schrage Musik. I hope to be including Schrage Musik in my next Test Transmission Archive Reel 4 in June.

1000 Plateaus Jan 2009

Now here is something I forgot about. A couple of years ago, just before I went of on my travels, and then returned. I was asked to contribute a piece of music for the 1000 Plateaus Digital Potlatch at Havant Arts Centre. 

I still have the piece of music I composed which was called Time to go Mr ?. But I could not locate the film that went with it. But good old Mr Heartfield came to the rescue and had put together a compilation of the visuals/videos used on the night by Myself, Polter, Black Powder Engine and Simon Heartfield. The visuals for Time to go Mr ? were all movies and images from one of my stays in Canada. Time to go Mr ? is the 3rd video on this compilation starting at 4.43.
